Spencer D. Jordan

     Dr. Jordan received his M.B.A. in Management from the University of Missouri, and Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Michigan State University.

     Dr. Jordan began his career in the oil and gas industry with Exxon. During his tenure with Exxon, Dr. Jordan helped design test validation studies for marketing personnel and implemented job satisfaction, job evaluation, job design, and job enrichment appraisal programs. He also coordinated training programs for refinery personnel regarding engineering and chemical comprehension, quality control, safety, and control room orientation.

     Dr. Jordan has been involved in the academic milieu and taught graduate and undergraduate courses at Texas Southern University, Prairie View A&M University, University of Houston, and the University of Missouri.

     Dr. Jordan has served as a Management Consultant and Vice President with several companies in such diverse areas as real estate, finance, investments, and international marketing.

     Dr. Jordan started Quantum Energy in 1989. The company was incorporated in the State of Texas in 1992. Dr. Jordan has primarily focused on marketing and transporting natural gas to LDCs and industrial and commercial end users. However, recently Quantum Energy has expanded its scope by participating in and structuring various oil and natural gas drilling and development projects in Texas and Louisiana.

     Dr. Jordan is a member of the Houston Minority Business Council, the National Minority Supplier Development Council, the Department of Energy Natural Gas Business Development Roundtable, and serves as Secretary of the National Council of Minorities in Energy.
