Les H. Kittler

    Les received his B.A. Degree in Economics and his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1966. He was a Managing Partner with a major Minneapolis Law Firm where he specialized for over 16 years in the areas of Corporate and Business Law, Taxation, and Federal & State Securities Laws and Regulatory Compliance.

     Since coming to Texas in 1982, Les has focused his activities primarily on the Oil & Natural Gas Industry and legal matters related thereto. Les has been an on-going Member of the Minnesota (1966) and Texas (1985) State Bar Associations, and is an active member of the Texas Bar Committee for the Oil, Gas, and Energy Resources Section.

     While in Texas, Les served in various executive management positions (Exec. V.P., President, Chief Operating Officer), as well as served on the Board of Directors of several independent exploration and production companies (E & P).

     These E & P Companies conducted extensive drilling, production and operational activities throughout Texas and Louisiana. In addition to supervising and coordinating these exploration and operational activities, Les had primary responsibility for structuring, developing and marketing oil & gas programs for both qualified accredited individual investors and institutional investors.

     Les has also acted as independent consultant and legal advisor for other oil & gas operators and successfully negotiated various joint ventures with several of the Majors such as Exxon/Mobil, Chevron/Texaco, and Conoco/Phillips.

     Les has also served from time to time as President and legal advisor to several community and charitable organizations both in Minnesota and in Texas.
